When the Damage Character item is selected in the Level Routines Window's Actions to Perform column, the following set of controls appears in the panel on the right side of the Level Routines window. These controls are used to configure the character damaging related actions that are carried out when the selected routine is performed in the game.


Damage a Character Checkbox

Determines whether a character is damaged when the selected routine is performed

Character to Damage Pop-Up Menu

Determines which character is damaged when the selected routine is performed

Reduce Character's Hit Points By Radio Button

Determines whether the character's hit points will be reduced by a specific number when the selected routine is performed

Set Character's Hit Points To Radio Button

Determines whether the character's hit points will be set to a specific number when the selected routine is performed

Character Hit Points Field

If the Reduce Character's Hit Points By Radio Button is selected, this field determines the number that the character's hit points will be reduced by when the selected routine is performed. If the Set Character's Hit Points To Radio Button is selected, this field determines the number that the character's hit points will be set to when the selected routine is performed.

Character Falls Back When Damaged Checkbox

Determines whether the character falls back upon being damaged when the selected routine is performed

Only Damage Character If Character is On Screen Checkbox

Determines if the character is only damaged if he is on the screen when the selected routine is performed
