Character Creation / Character Set Editing

Character sets are edited within the Character Sets Window (Command-2), which is divided into three tabs: Animation Sequences, Sound Collections, and Additional Options. The left side of the Character Sets Window contains controls for selecting, creating, and deleting character sets. (See the Object Type Management part of the Common Production Tasks section for more information on the use of these kinds of controls.)

Character Set Animation Sequence Editing

Depending on a character set's Sequence Detail, it may have up to several dozen editable animation sequences, each with as many frames as desired.

Character Set Sound Editing

Character sets each have 16 sound collections, which contain the sound effects that are played when the character performs different actions, such as accelerating, attacking, and jumping.

Editing Character Set Additional Options

Additional character set options are divided into five categories: Combat Options, Sequence Transition Options, Animation Sequence Frame Rates, Physical Overlap Limits, and Color Flash Options.
