When the Set Character Properties item is selected in the Level Routines Window's Actions to Perform column, the following set of controls appears in the panel on the right side of the Level Routines window. These controls are used to configure the character property related actions that are carried out when the selected routine is performed in the game. These actions include changing a character's type, warping a character to a new location, and changing the character's goals.


Set Character Properties Checkbox

Determines whether a character's properties are set when the selected routine is performed.

Character to Modify Pop-Up Menu

Determines which character's properties are set when the selected routine is performed

Change Character Type Checkbox

Determines whether the character will be changed to a different type. This may result in the character gaining different abilities and/or changing in appearance.

Change Character Type To Pop-Up Menu

Determines which type of character the character is changed to when the selected routine is performed. The Edit button may be used to edit the game project's character types.

Warp Character To New Location Checkbox

Determines whether the character is warped to a new location when the selected routine is performed

Warp Character To New Location X and Y Fields

Determines the location that the character will be warped to when the selected routine is performed

Change Character Goals Checkbox

Determines whether the character's goal coordinates are changed when the selected routine is performed

Change Character Goals X1 and X2 Fields

Determines the two locations along the X axis that define the zone in which the character patrols

Change Character Goals Y1 and Y2 Fields

Determines the two locations along the Y axis that define the zone in which the character patrols
