Using the Toolbar | |
Like the Window Menu, the Toolbar provides access to all of the Major Power Game Factory Windows. It also contains buttons for building and testing the current game project. |
The Toolbar is usually visible whenever a game project is open. The Window
Menu contains commands for positioning the Toolbar on either the top or
left edge of the screen. The Window Menu also provides options for hiding
and showing the Toolbar. Because each of the Toolbar's functions can be
achieved through keyboard shortcuts and the menu bar, the toolbar is more
of a convenience than a necessity. When the toolbar is visible and positioned
along the top edge of the screen, context-specific instructions called
Toolbar Tips may appear below the toolbar. Like the Toolbar itself, Toolbar
Tips may be hidden or shown through the Window Menu. The purposes of the buttons on the toolbar are explained as follows: |
