Player Creation / Player Type Editing / Player Type General Properties
 
To edit a player type's general properties, select the General tab in the Player Types Window. The General tab contains several pop-up menus for specifying various aspects of the player type's appearance and behavior. Each of these controls is explained below.


Blood Type Pop-Up Menu

Determines the type of blood spilt by players of the selected type. (The Additional Properties tab contains the related Bleeding Resistance property.)

Contrail Type Emitted When Alive Pop-Up Menu

Determines the type of Contrail emitted by living players of the selected type. The timing of the contrails can be set with the Delay Between Contrails Alive property in the Additional Properties tab.

Contrail Type Emitted When Dead Pop-Up Menu

Determines the type of Contrail emitted by dead players of the selected type. The timing of the contrails can be set with the Delay Between Contrails Dead property in the Additional Properties tab.

Contrail Type Emitted When Dying Pop-Up Menu

Determines the type of Contrail emitted by dying players of the selected type. The timing of the contrails can be set with the Delay Between Contrails Dying property in the Additional Properties tab.

Contrail Type Emitted When Landing Pop-Up Menu

Determines which type of contrail is emitted when the selected type of player lands on the ground. This contrail may be used to depict the dust cloud produced by the landing impact.

Default Appearance Pop-Up Menu

Determines which player set is used by default. The conditions explained below can override the default appearance.

Change Appearance When Invincible Checkbox and pop-Up Menu

Determines whether the player's appearance changes when he is invincible, and which, if any, player set is used to determine his appearance when he is invincible.

Change Appearance When Flying or Double Jumping Checkbox and pop-Up Menu

Determines whether the player's appearance changes when he is flying or double jumping, and which, if any, player set is used to determine his appearance when he is flying or double-jumping.

Change Appearance When x Lives Remain Checkbox and pop-Up Menu

Determines whether the player's appearance changes depending upon how many lives he has remaining, and which, if any, player set(s) are used to determine his appearance when he has various numbers of lives remaining.
